I finally found a tie fighter pilot to go with my Tie
Interceptor. Thankfully he was shorter
than the storm trooper and fit nicely in his fighter. I also purchased Vader and Luke and thought I
would include some pictures of them.

Tie Interceptor Finished
I finally finished up my Black Series scale Tie Fighter Interceptor. While I was originally planning for a fighter I made the last minute decision to go ahead with the interceptor - basically because I like the design of the interceptor so much better and I don't know if I will get around to making multiple of these things. Once I get my x-wing dug back out of moving boxes - I'll show a side by side comparison.
The wings are made out of plywood and chipboard that was laser cut into the various pieces. Some progress pics:
I built some supports (in black) to get the angle right for the wings as the glue dried. |
The blue and green pieces were 3d printed with a makerbot. |

Tie Fighter - Star Wars Black Series (post 1)
I have been modeling and 3D printing a tie fighter to go along with my Star Wars Black Series figures. I have the main body done - I just need to get on with the wings.
